1. Who we are
The data controller is Sevenair Academy, S.A., a company registered in Portugal with tax number (NIF) 504277723 and registered office at Aeródromo Municipal de Ponte de Sor, EN 2 KM 440, 37 Tramaga, 7400-601 Ponte de Sor, Portugal.

2. What this policy covers
This policy explains how we process personal data when you visit sevenair.com and its subdomains, submit a form, book a session with a Training Advisor or receive our communications.
It does not cover the training records of enrolled students, which are described in a separate notice provided at enrolment. Our website also links to other websites, such as those of our partners, which have their own privacy policies.
3. Personal data we collect
Information you give us
- Name and contact details, such as email address and telephone number.
- Information you enter in our forms, such as the course or programme you are interested in and your message.
- Details of Training Advisor sessions you book, such as the date and time.
- Your communication preferences.
Information collected automatically, only with your consent
- Device, browser, operating system and language.
- Pages viewed, how you arrived on our website and how you interact with it.
- Approximate location derived from your IP address.
- Online identifiers stored in cookies, such as an analytics client ID.
Strictly necessary information
We store your cookie choices and the technical data needed to deliver the website securely. This does not require your consent.
We do not ask for special categories of personal data, such as health data, through this website. Please do not include them in free-text fields.
4. Why we use your data and our legal basis
Where we rely on legitimate interests, you can object at any time (see section 9).
5. Profiling and automated decisions
With your consent, we may group enquiries by the programmes people are interested in so that our communications are relevant to you. We do not make decisions about you based solely on automated processing that produce legal or similarly significant effects.
6. Who we share your data with
We share personal data only with service providers that process it on our behalf under a data processing agreement, and only as needed for the purposes above.
We may also disclose personal data where required by law, for example to courts or public authorities. We do not sell personal data.
7. International transfers
Some of our providers are based in, or access data from, countries outside the European Economic Area, including the United States. Where this happens, we ensure an adequate level of protection, for example by relying on the European Commission’s adequacy decision for providers certified under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework, or on the European Commission’s Standard Contractual Clauses with supplementary measures where needed. You can ask us for more information about these safeguards.
8. How long we keep your data
We review the data we hold at least once a year and delete or anonymise data we no longer need.
9. Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right to:
- access your personal data and receive a copy of it;
- correct inaccurate or incomplete data;
- have your data erased (the “right to be forgotten”);
- restrict how we use your data;
- receive your data in a portable format;
- object to processing based on legitimate interests, and object at any time to direct marketing;
- withdraw your consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before you withdrew it.
To exercise your rights, email dpo@sevenair.com. We will reply within one month. For complex requests this may be extended by up to two further months, and we will tell you if so. We may ask you to confirm your identity.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Proteção de Dados (CNPD), at www.cnpd.pt, or with the supervisory authority in the EU country where you live or work.
10. Cookies and similar technologies
Cookies are small files stored on your device. In line with the GDPR and Portuguese Law no. 41/2004 on privacy in electronic communications, we only use cookies that are not strictly necessary after you give your consent through our cookie banner.
Refusing cookies is as easy as accepting them. You can change or withdraw your consent at any time with the cookie button at the bottom left of every page or the button below. If your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, marketing cookies stay off.

11. Security
We use appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect personal data, including encrypted (HTTPS) connections, access restricted to staff who need the data, and contracts with our service providers. No transmission over the internet is completely secure, so please contact us if you believe your data has been compromised.
12. Applicants under 18
Our website is intended for people considering professional pilot training. Applicants must be at least 17 years old, and we recommend that applicants under 18 involve a parent or guardian in their enquiry.
13. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in the law or in how we process personal data. We will publish the updated version on this page with a new date and, where changes are significant, inform you by other appropriate means.
